Rachel Clements, 71, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away July 19, 2018 at Shirkey Nursing Home of cancer and COPD.
Mrs. Clements was born August 1, 1946 in Kewanee, Mo. She loved art, painting, nature, music, TV, Elvis, and dolphins.
Rachel was preceded in death by by her parents, Wanda Sparks and John Otto Mace; children, Sharon E. Logan, Kenneth Logan, Lewis Logan, and James Logan; siblings, David Sparks, Sr., Thomas Woodard, and Mary Hatfield; husbands, Hiram Clements and Edwin Logan; grandson, Jacob Logan; and one great grandson, Bradly Sellers.
Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Sanford; siblings, Alberta Wilson, Gene Sparks, and Herbert Mace; grandchildren, Tyra Winslow, Rachel Lott, Charles Lott, Joseph Fagan, Jeremiah Scott, Ashley Scott, Shawn Logan, Keleia Logan, Randy Moulder, Jeremy Dingham, Kenneth Logan, Joshua Logan, Shane Logan, Eddie Dale Logan, Leslie Logan, and Amanda Logan; as well as several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, Mo., with visitation from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at Prairie Ridge Cemetery in Polo, Mo., at a later date.
