Delores Cates
Delores G. Cates, 69, Kansas City, Mo., died Sunday, July 11, 2010. Mrs. Cates was born July 7, 1941, in Camden, the daughter of Sidney and Roena (Adams) Taylor. She was a member of the Baptist church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings. Survivors include her husband, Dan Cates, of the home; one daughter, Doris Farage; three sons, Jody Cates, Don Cates and Eddie Cates; two sisters, Florence and Bonny; and two brothers, James and Jimmy.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs; burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in Excelsior Springs. Friends may call from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at the funeral home.
