George "Pookie" Toms
George Hall "Pookie" Toms passed away January 14, 2013. He was born
April 20, 1918 in Lexington, Mo. George retired from the State Highway
Department. He served his country in the US Army during W.W.II.
He was preceded by his wife, Margaret, of 69 years on August 1, 2009.
He is survived by three children, Daphane Lara of Richmond, Mo., Terry
Toms of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mary Lee Barker of Lexington, Mo., eight
grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Cremation with no services.
Arrangements through Bross & Spidle, Excelsior Springs.
