Junior Brown
Junior Brown, 81, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away February 5, 2014.
Junior was born September 15, 1932 to Ole and Helen O’Dell Brown in Rayville, Mo. Junior graduated from Richmond High School. He served his country during the Korean War in the United States Navy. Junior retired from Bayer Chemical as maintance supervisor. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was an excellent welder and belonged to the pipe fitters union. Junior will also be remembered as a gifted and skilled wood crafter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and first wife, Alma Jean Kennell Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Nadine; daughter and husband, Debbie and Carl Cleveland; daughter and husband, Karen and Paul Jackson; son, William Whitworth; son and wife, Roy and Tracy Adams; son and wife, David and Kelly Adams; and daughter and husband, Belinda and Bill Halberstadt; 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. February 11, 2014 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home. The family suggest memorial contributions to Liberty Hospital Hospice.
