John Joseph Lewis
John Joseph Lewis, 74, of Liberty, Mo., passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013.
John was born June 1, 1939 in Milan, Mo., to Paris A. and Ruby P. (Smith) Lewis. On June 3, 1961 he married Hazel Johnson in Milan Mo. They were married 52 years. John worked as a lead man in the manufacturing industry for many years. John was a man who loved deer hunting and refurbishing cars, trucks, and tractors. He was also a member of St. James Catholic church.
John was preceded in death by his parents.
John is survived by his wife, Hazel of the home; son, Eddie (Kathleen); daughter, Connie (Tom); son, Donnie; and five grandchildren, Stephanie, Ryan, Megan, Lacey Jo, and Cole.
John will be missed by his family and friends.
Funeral mass for John will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church in Liberty, Mo. Burial will be at Resurrection North in Liberty, Mo.
Arrangements through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
