John married the love of his life, Sandy, in July 1961. He and Sandy enjoyed and worked Mac’s Auctions with their auction family for more than 30 years.

John was preceded in death by his daughter, Julie, and grandson, Jeremy.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy of the home; two daughters, Lisa Treese and Johnna Baker; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
