Virginia Booy Scott
Virginia Booy Scott, 89, Kansas City, Mo., passed away March 14, 2012 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron, Mo.
Virginia was born September 8, 1922 in Kansas City, Mo., to John and Clara Leupold Booy. Virginia was a nurse during World War II, serving as a Lieutenant in the United States Army. She served in field hospitals throughout the European Theater of Operations following General Patton’s Army.
She is preceded by her parents, son, Michael Eugene Scott, and husband, Eugene Edward Scott.
Survivors include daughter Cathy and husband, Bill Miller, of Kearney, Mo., and daughter, Caryn Hall and husband, Tem, of Humansville, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Cremation with private family services at a later date.
