
Jacqueline Phyllis Dieteman, 86, of the St. Louis area, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri.
Born on November 2, 1939, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Gilbert and Betty Dieteman, Jackie lived most of her life in the St. Louis area. She brought warmth, kindness, and a welcoming spirit to everyone she met.
For 30+ years, Jackie was the beloved manager with Schnuck’s Station restaurants. Her bright smile and caring nature made the restaurant a favorite gathering place for many.
Jackie had a joyful, fun-loving personality. She loved dancing to Disco, Elvis Presley, and the classic rock and roll of the 1950s and 1960s. A longtime member of First Unity Church of St. Louis, she found comfort and community in her faith. Above all, she was compassionate and loving — a cherished Great Grandmother whose warmth touched every generation.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Betty Dieteman; her sister, Elizabeth Birkmayer; and her brother, Gilbert Dieteman.
Jackie is survived by her sister, Sharon Cook; her son, Lawrence Goldman; daughter-in-law, Lisa Goldman; and her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held at First Unity Church of St. Louis, officiated by Jan Mourning.
Jackie lived a life full of love, laughter, music, and simple pleasures. Her compassionate heart and fun-loving spirit created memories her family and friends will treasure forever. She will be deeply missed.
