Katelynn Frances Liberty, age 30, of Rayville, MO, passed away August 28, 2026 in Kansas City, MO, from acute myeloid leukemia.
Mrs. Liberty was born on September 18, 1995 in Dallas, TX.
Mrs. Liberty graduated from Liberty North High School in 2014 and went on to earn both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemical engineering from the University of Arkansas. She pursued her professional career with Tallgrass Energy.
She is survived by her husband, Brandon Liberty; her parents, Ray and Kimbra Downey; her sister, Lindsey Hodge; and her beloved dogs, Rhea, Hera, and Athena.
A celebration of life will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Van Till Family Farm Winery in Rayville, MO.
