Born Sara Lucille Douglas in Kansas City, Missouri, February 3, 1938, to mother, Molly Douglas and father, Art Severns. She died peacefully on September 26, 2026, at 4:00 a.m.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Ed, Margaret, Patty, Gerrie; and grandson, Derek.
She is survived by her husband, Guy Coffman; daughter, Terrie and husband, Sandy Summers, their children, Chris Summers, Samantha Summers and Shannon Summers; daughter, Dana and husband, John O’Connor, their children, Danny O’Connor, Brittany O’Connor, Rachel O’Connor, Jennifer O’Connor, Cameron O’Connor, Caleb O’Connor and Keaton O’Connor; son, Stephen and wife, Pat Richardson, their children, Derek, Krista, Nicole, Mike and Patrick; and 20 great grandchildren.
Sara (Sally) loved God, she loved her family, friends and animals. She loved to travel, listen to music and socialize at senior citizens events. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved volunteering and helping others, she never knew a stranger. She was loved deeply by everyone.
Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Chandler Baptist Church followed by funeral service. Burial will be at White Chapel Cemetery.
