Geoffrey Gordon Brown, aged 71, passed away June 21, 2017 at his home in Excelsior Springs, Mo., due to heart disease.
Geoff was born May 20, 1946 in Pittsburg, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Lamont Brown and Martha Graham Harbison Brown.
He is survived by his children, Buffy Hileah (Brown) Johnson, Matthew Gordon Brown, Robert Travis Brown, Lanny Paul Brown and Jedediah Edward Brown, as well as his grandchildren, Ethan Brown, Ella Brown, Ellye Johnson and Aeva Johnson.
Geoff was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Fishing River Ward.
His children will have a private gathering and remembrance within the coming weeks. They wish to offer their gratitude and kindness to the many friends who have reached out and shared such kindness and love.
Arrangements are under the care of Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
