Sharon Rose (Oliver) Thomas, 63, of Kearney, Mo., died Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Liberty Hospital.
Sharon was born on August 17, 1953 in St. Louis, Mo., to James Samuel “Sam” and Shirley Elizabeth (Wilson) Oliver. She was a graduate of the class of 1971 from Clopton High School.
She married James “Jim” Thomas on June 29, 1996. Together, they owned and managed The Armory in Kearney. He survives of the home.
Sharon is survived by her spouse, Jim; her mother, Shirley; two daughters and one son-in-law, Jennifer and Jason Gant of Hardin, Mo., and Samantha Goldenstein of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Steve and Scott (Denise) Oliver; two sisters, Susan Oliver and Stacy (Jason) Erickson; three grandchildren, Samara, Weston, and Kaleb Gant; her best friend and aunt, Carrol Totten; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father and one sister, Sheila Farris.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, Mo. A service and burial will be held at a later date in Elsberry, Mo.
