Virginia (Giny) Caryl May, 45, Lawson, Mo., passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at home.
Giny was born February 12, 1972 to Robert G. and Diana L. May in Hutchinson, Kans.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Diana L. May, and sister, Jill Susan May.
She is survived by her father, Robert G. May, Kansas City, Kans.; one brother, Robert G. May II and wife, Andrea J. May, St. Louis, Mo.; two daughters, Alexa May, Lawson, Mo., and Paige May, Grandview, Mo.; one granddaughter, Marli; one grandson, Charlie, and one on the way; grandmother, Joyce Morris, Arkansas, Kans.; aunts and uncles.
Giny graduated from Lawson High School in 1990. She was a Medical Transcriber. Giny was an avid sports fan, loved her Royals and Chiefs … couldn’t survive a week without watching the Batchelor and Big Brother. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Marlie and Charlie warmed her heart and made her smile. She will be missed by many family and friends.
Cremation with a celebration of life will be held at Salem Christian Union Church, Excelsior Springs, Mo., on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking contributions be made to the Virginia “Giny” May Memorial Account to help the girls with funeral cost at the Lawson Bank and envelopes will be available at the church.
