Carolyn F. Mautino-Bain, 77, of Kearney, Mo., passed away September 4, 2017.
Carolyn was born July 10, 1940 in Holt, Mo., to Ernest and Grace Hurt. Carolyn worked for many years in Kearney at Weber Reality, Kearney Trust, and Shelter Insurance. After retirement, she loved spending time with her friends just visiting and having lunch. She also cherished time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carolyn was a member of the Kearney Community Covenant Church.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Grace Hurt; step-mother, Kathryn Hurt; husbands, Marvin Mautino Sr. and Dolph Bain; son, Marvin Mautino Jr.; sister, Marilyn Higgins; and step-brothers, Norman Reed and Kenneth Reed.
She is survived by her daughter, Sue Mautino-DeShon and her husband, Mike; grandchildren, Cayce and Sarah Mautino, Tiffany Mautino, Mason Mautino, Joshua Maddick, and Kristen and Wade Sullivan; great grandchildren, Lilly Mautino, Jayce Maddick, Jaxon Maddick, Ethan Sullivan, and Wraylen Sullivan; as well as siblings, Ernie and Donna Hurt and Sally and Jon Villers.
Carolyn was loved by all who knew her and will be missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, Mo., with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial to follow service at Oakland Cemetery in Holt, Mo.
