It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our Pappy. Beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend. Edward E. Hutchison of Richmond, Mo., passed away on September 29, 2017.
He was born on December 1 ,1935 to the late Homer Troy and Anna Mozelle Medders Hutchison in Marigold, Miss. He married Bonnie Rippeto, which produced five children. They later divorced. For most of his life Ed was a sod farmer. He loved gardening and spending time outdoors.
Pappy leaves behind to mourn his loss one daughter, Teresa (David) Walter of Gardner, Kans., and four sons, Eddie Joe Hutchison of Gilliam, Mo.,Timothy (Alyce) Hutchison of Richmond, Mo., Greg (Angie) Hutchison of Kansas City, Kans., and Larry (April) Hutchison of Emma, Mo.; two sisters, Patricia Weldon and Diane McClain, who both live in Mississippi; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Laura Nichols, and three brothers, Homer and Robert Hutchison and an infant who died of polio.
Ed will be cremated.
A private service was performed on September 30, 2017 at Bross and Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, Mo. A Celebration of Life with extended family and friends will be at a later date.
