Helen Louise (Ferril) Brock, 94, of Kearney, Mo., passed away on December 10, 2017 at home.
Helen was born on October 14, 1923 to George Dallas and Mildred Irene Courtney Ferril in Gallatin, Mo.
Helen was married to Ralph Joseph Brock on December 18, 1945 and lived most of their married life on their farm outside of Kearney.
Helen was a housewife until her boys were grown, then went to work at Witaker Cable in Excelsior Springs until the company moved. Helen enjoyed traveling with her sisters and her cousin, Mary Ann Easley, shopping and refinishing antique furniture.
Helen was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Darlene and Susan, and one brother, Lewis.
Helen is survived by two sons, James Brock (Judy) of Reno, Nev., and Dallas Brock (Vicki) of Kearney, Mo.; five grandchildren, Chris (Tracy) of Excelsior Springs, Mo., Kelly Briggs (Bryan) of Chester, Va., Tony Brock of Springfield, Mo., Warren Brock of Fernley, Nev., and Natalie Bernard (Heath) of Reno, Nev.; six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on December 15, 2017 at the Converse Cemetery in Lathrop, Mo., with viewing from noon until 1:00 p.m. at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Lawson, Mo.
