Jeanne Woods, 85, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away December 27, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Jeanne was born June 24, 1932 to Rex E. and Twyla D. (Williams) Bridger in Elmira, Mo. Jeanne was very creative and artistic, she made ceramics, counted cross-stitch, crocheted, knitted, was a great seamstress, and also enjoyed gardening and reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delbert R. Woods; daughter, Terry Hubbard; and sisters, Myra Beth and Patricia Bridger.
She is survived by her daughters, Denise Taylor of Kansas City, Mo., Michelle Schwarzel of Greenwood, Mo., and Ramona (Kenny) Burns of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; step-children, Kirk (Tamy) Woods of Kansas City, Mo., Kent (Debi) Woods of Cypress, Calif., and Kyla Woods of Fullerton, Calif.; siblings, Duane (Rosemary) Bridger, Rexena Petree and Minnie Van Zant; 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017 with service following at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs, Mo. Burial at Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, Mo.
