James “Floyd” Long, 76, Orrick, Mo., passed away December 29, 2017.
James was born October 9, 1941 to Richard and Ethel (Roberts) Long.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Shannon and Lisa; and sister, Donna Rickart.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lilly “Lisa” Long of the home; two sons, Gary Long of Gladstone, Mo., and James Long Jr. of Orrick, Mo.; sister, Karen (Hal) King; brothers, Bill (Paula) Long, Bob (Lee) Long, Raymond Long, and Eddie (Donna) Long; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2017 from 1 to 2 p.m., with service following at Rock Falls Baptist Church, burial at Missouri City Cemetery. The family suggest memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.
