May 9, 1968 ~ March 17, 2018
David Miller, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away suddenly at his home.
David was born in Mpls, Minn., to Dennis and Lynda Miller of Mandan, N.D. After graduating from Southwest High School in Mpls he moved to Daytona, Fla., where he attended Motorcycle Mechanics Institute. He also earned certification in Air Frame and Power Plant in Missouri. He had a love for motorcycles and fixing small engines from a very early age. It was his passion and he loved sharing that passion with everyone.
He opened D & R Motorsports out of his home garage in 2009 and had several locations to follow until his recent location in Excelsior Springs, Mo.
David had a big heart and loved to help anyone he could. He felt privileged in supporting the local Police and Fire Departments as well as the community of Excelsior Springs, he was so proud of all the projects and events he could be part of. He loved hunting, fishing and anything to do with water sports. He was a certified scuba diver and was blessed to dive in Aruba and Mexico on several occasions. David had one son, Ryan, whom he loved fiercely. He was so proud of Ryan’s love, passion and skill at baseball and would encourage him to follow his dream.
He left us way too early and will be missed by family and friends too numerous to count.
He is proceeded in death by both sets of grandparents, Oscar and Illa Miller, previously of Bismark, N.D., and Edwin and Mildred Laub, and his father, Dennis Miller, all previously of Mandan, N.D.
He is survived by son, Ryan Miller, Blue Springs, Mo.; mother, Lynda Miller, Mandan, N.D.; sister, Michelle Caspers (Steve), Northfield, Minn.; nephew, Dan Caspers, Chicago, Ill.; niece, Rachael Caspers, Northfield, Minn.; and fiance`, Angela Knight-Winchester, Excelsior Springs, Mo.
Memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, 217 W. Broadway, Excelsior Springs, Mo., with memorial service immediately following.

May the Love from the Savior Jesus calm the fears and fill the hearts of David’s Family and Friends, not that we understand but rather have faith in the Fathers Grand Plan for each of us. Rest In Peace David, we will meet again.

So sorry for your loss. He was too young. He was one of the best men I knew, always a smile on his face. He will be missed, so sending prayers and hugs to help you through this sad time.

My deepest and sincerest condolences to Michelle and the family. I went to school with David and Michelle, and even baby-sat them. Such an energetic spirit. He had a way of making everybody feel special! Didn’t get to see him much later in life, but loved him just the same. So sad I didn’t get to say good-bye. He will be forever missed. Rest in heaven Davy!!!
