Monte McLin passed away unexpectedly on the morning of May 16, 2018.
He will be remembered forever as a great athlete, winning water ski championships over the span of more than three decades, and a loyal, knowledgeable mentor to those who got to work with him. If you ever had the chance to meet him, he always left a lasting impression.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy; his brother, Pat; and his son, Jake.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2018, with a memorial service at 7 p.m., held at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney, Mo. As per his wishes, dress casual.
