Carolyn Marleen Colburn, 84, Kearney, Mo., passed away peacefully in the arms of Jesus on Monday, October 8, 2018 at North Kansas City Hospice House.
Carolyn was born July 13, 1934 to Ivan and Lilah Nance in King City, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Boss Colburn, and grandson, Blaine Colburn.
She is survived by her step children and spouses, Louis and Marie Dodson, Walt and Gail Colburn, Charles and Carol Miller, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, October 12, 2018 at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, McFall, Mo.

Carol and I were good friends. She worked for John Lange at the Kirby office in Sedalia and I was a saleslady. We shared many hours together. We were the only 2 “girls” there. I missed her when she moved away. She was a sweet lady and always a good friend to talk to. I know she is with the Lord right now. Even tho we have not seen each other in many years, I already miss her! Memories will always live in our hearts. I know she loved you very much and she was proud of each of you.
