Barbara Jeanne Davison, 91, Overland Park, Kans., passed away October 29, 2018 at her home.
Jeanne was born January 30, 1927 in Boise, Idaho. She was a 60+ year member of the First United Methodist Church of Excelsior Springs where she was very active. She enjoyed tole painting and was an exceptional seamstress. Her and her late husband, Tobie, raised Black Angus cattle for 30 years. They enjoyed traveling the world, camping and road trips. She loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Myrtle (Thomas) Bedal; daughter, Debra Jean Davison; and a brother, Jerry Bedal.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Smith; grandsons, Christopher (Ashley) Smith and Tobie Smith of Gladstone, Mo.; granddaughter, Lydia Smith of Shawnee; four great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Eddins and Shirley Hubbard of Nampa, Idaho.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at the First United Methodist Church of Excelsior Springs, with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. prior.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to the church.
