Clayton C. Haney, 26, of Kearney, MO, passed away on January 19, 2019 surrounded by his family and friends. Clayton was born June 27, 1992 in Belleville, IL. He attended Kearney High School and graduated with the class of 2010. After graduation he started working on his career which lead him to finding his calling working as a Field Supervisor at Environmental Works Inc.
Clayton had a wide array of passions that were never ending. His biggest passion since the age of three was riding dirt bikes every chance he had. Though he loved his bikes, Clayton was a dreamer who was always looking for new projects. When asked what was most important to him his answer would have easily been the amount of time he was able to spend with his family and friends.
Clayton is survived by his fiancé, Shelby Winn, his parents, Greg and Toni Haney, and sister, Alexis Haney, all of Kearney, MO; as well as many other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2019 at Flander Hall, 107 W. Broadway, Excelsior Springs, MO.
