Judy Ann Rogers, 71, of Kearney, Mo., died June 5, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Judy was born October 29, 1947 in Charles City, Iowa, to Harold Hurd and Evelyn Rover. She lived on a farm all of her childhood years in Clarksville, Iowa. She enjoyed the farm life and spent a lot of time fishing.
Judy married George Zwosta on October 16, 1964. From this marriage they had three children. They later divorced.
On April 29, 1991, Judy was united in marriage to Donald Rogers in Kansas City, Kans. They loved to spend time at the Kansas Speedway, taking long road trips, camping and enjoyed traveling.
Judy retired after many years of factory work. After that, she spent a lot of time gardening, hanging out with her family and playing with her dog Abby. Her family loved every minute they had with her.
Judy is survived by her five children, Kathy Dujakovich, Mona (Derk) Hawks, Joe Zwosta, Donald (Vicky) Rogers Jr., and Gail Rogers; sister, Shirley (Larry) Frey; brother, Dan (Denise) Hurd; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two nieces, and three nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 7 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2019 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, Mo.
