Charles “Charlie” E. Myers, age 49, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019. Charlie was born March 4, 1970 to Charles W. Myers and Patricia J. (Oliver) Myers.
Charlie lived his short life to the fullest and left his impression on everyone he met. He continuously joked that he was the only child in his parents’ second marriage. Time at the lake or going to the races is where he enjoyed spending his time. Briefly, Charlie took his passion for racing to I-35 Speedway and US 36 Raceway where he drove racecar #29. Nothing could compare to the love he had for his grandson and the time they spent together.
Charlie is preceded in death by his wife, Cindy of 16 years; stepdaughter, Jessica Mills; and mother, Patricia.
He is survived by a daughter, Shana Myers (Jason); grandson, Hunter Marrant; his father and stepmother, Deanne; and his siblings, Donna Parker (Buster), Larry Myers (Lisa), Erin Stocking (Ryan and niece, Jordan), and Amber Giese (Cody and nephew, Ian).
Visitation for Charles and Cindy Myers will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2019, with a memorial service at 7 p.m., at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, 217 W. Broadway, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024.
Our Sincere Condolences
I’m so sorry that God took you two so early… But God needed more angels… May God be with the family at this time… They will be so missed. You two gave us all so much life.
