Dale A. Meehan passed away July 8, 2019. Dale was born on November 14, 1932 in Ironton, Mo., to Dr. George and Florence Meehan.
Dale was a Naval Veteran. He retired from Trans World Airlines (TWA) after 35 years of service. He was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church for over 40 years and very active in disaster relief, as well as numerous missionary trips. He loved wood working, fishing, and above all, his wife and family.
Dale is survived by his wife, Benna “Sue” Meehan; children, Sharon Richardson, Debra “Debi” Musick, Cyndi Elliott, Mary Stahl, Jerry Bixby, Mike Meehan, and Joe Meehan; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He will be missed and remembered by many and is now at rest and peace with his Heavenly Father.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Pisgah Baptist Church, Excelsior Springs. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, Mo.
