Joseph R. “Joe” Fields passed away at the age of 96 years old at home with his loving family.
He was born in Lawrence County, Indiana on April 9, 1923. He was one of 10 children born to William Lawrence and Edna Lenore (King) Fields. He was a W.W.II veteran, serving in the Marine Corps from 1942-1945. He retired from City Products, Ben Franklin Division in North Kansas City, Missouri in July 1978.
He was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Colleen; his children, Joey and Dee Fields, Rick and Cindy Bradley, Reva and Ken Copeland, Renee Bradley, and Randy and Cecilia Bradley; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two brothers
Joe loved fishing, camping, and gardening.
A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, October, 2019 at Bross & Spidle Lawson Chapel, with service following at 2 p.m. Burial in Lawson Cemetery with military honors.
