Neal E. Claypole, 82, Kansas City, Mo., met our heavenly Father Monday, November 11, 2019.
Neal was born March 11, 1937 to George and Cora Opal Claypole in Polo, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Karen of the home; daughter, Janet Claypole of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; son, Scott Claypole of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; son, Chris Claypole, Excelsior Springs, Mo.; step-son, Matt Wessley of Blue Grass,Iowa; daughter, Allison Ratliff of Kansas City, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2019 with service following at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs, Mo., with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Neal was a dear friend, kind hearted and generous. He was my mechanic for many years at the local dealership and in turn I assisted him at the doctors office. We became friends and during his visits from Colorado he would be sure to drop by to say hello and leave a bag of potatoes. I will miss you Neal. Deepest sympathies to your family 🙏🏼
