Beverly A. Tarepin

Beverly TarepinBeverly Ann Tarepin, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away on November 21, 2019. She was born April 4, 1958 to Edith and Waite “Bill” Tarepin. A lifelong resident of Excelsior Springs, she attended and graduated from Excelsior Springs High School. She was a lifelong Christian and attended Salem Christian Union congregation. Her lengthy employment at the local Price Chopper made her a recognizable presence to everyone. Known for her love of gardening and her devotion to her family and friends, she cultivated joy and love in all she did.

She is preceded in death by her father, Waite “Bill” Tarepin.

She is survived by her mother, Edith Tarepin; children, Keith Meredith, Christine Meredith, and Christopher Meredith; siblings, Ronald Tarepin Senior, Cheryl Graham, and Carol Huffman; fiancé, Rick Hawkins; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Moo.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at  6 p.m. at the Community of Christ Church, 1020 Plummers Road. A gentle reminder that Bev’s favorite color is purple. Come ready to Celebrate.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation. A collection will be taken at the service.

Thank you to everyone for your thoughts, prayers and support during her illness. The outpouring of love over the past few years has been greatly felt and appreciated.
