Steven L. Miles, 61, of Lawson, Mo.
After a short, but courageous, battle with cancer, died peacefully, Monday, March 23, 2020 at his home.
Steven was born October 23, 1958, to James L. Miles and Bonnie Mann Miles, in Kansas City, Mo. He graduated from Winnetonka High School in 1978. He was an employee of Hallmark Cards, Inc. Steven suffered a stroke in 2005 and was on long term disability.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Karen Brim; and a brother, Dale Miles.
Steven is survived by his wife, Kayleen Miles of the home; three sons, Michael (Jana) Miles, Raymond Kellam, and Robert (Erin) Kellam; three daughters, Michelle (Chris) Roney, Melissa (Kevin) Jones, and Melody Wymore;17 grandchildren, Alyssa, Abby, Hillary, Jordyn, Maddie, Bradley, Coltyn, Joshua, Cameryn, Korie, Caleb, Claire, Brooklyn, Asher, Quinn, Izzy, and Julia. He also leaves behind a host of family and friends.
Steven was Catholic and a member of St. Ann Catholic Church of Excelsior Springs, Mo.
Steven will be buried in Lawson Cemetery on March 26, 2020 in a private service. A memorial mass will be scheduled at a later date.

Kayleen, I’m so sorry to hear of Steve’s passing, he was such a gentle and happy soul in spite of his health issues, he will be greatly missed. I’m sure he’s having a joyous reunion with his parents and siblings in heaven.
