Philip Wayne Niemeyer, 60, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away April 8, 2020.
Philip was born in Independence, Mo., to Francis and Evelyn Henry Niemeyer.
Private family service was held Friday, April 10, 2020 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, Mo.

IN LOVING MEMORY FOR MY SPECIAL COUSIN. I already miss talking to you on the phone. You would always call me or I would call you. When I would talk to you my day would be brighter. I will always think about you and you will always be in my heart and prayers. Also I want to thank you Phil for taking care of our country; because of your service to our country and for all the men and women who are in the military we can all live our lives in peace and freedom. You are now in heaven with God and the Angels and with your Mom and Dad. God bless you Phil for being a very special cousin to me.
