Donna Lynne (Elgin) Creason was born on May 26, 1946 in Excelsior Springs, Mo., to Geraldene Elgin. She passed away on May 19, 2020 at the age of 73 at Lawson Manor and Rehabilitation after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
Donna was a life long resident of Excelsior Springs. She loved being a mother and spent much of her life with activities surrounding her children and former husband, Dale Creason. She loved camping and spending time at the cabin on Lake of the Ozarks. She was a data specialist at Excelsior Springs Job Corps until she retired. She loved shopping and finding good deals and steals.
She was a beloved mother to James Aaron Creason until his passing in 1990.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy Shelor and husband John. She had her dreams come true when she became Memaw to Mason Aaron Shelor, Payton Renae Shelor, and Willow Rae Shelor. She spoiled them rotten and loved every minute she spent with them.
There will be a private family graveside service on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Hillcrest Cemetery.
