Randall Dean Zeikle, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 5, 2020. He was born February 20, 1953 in Excelsior Springs, Mo., to Gladys (Elliott) and Orville Zeikle.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; his brothers, Russell, Dennis and James Zeikle; his sister-in-law, Lana Zeikle; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Helen Barbee; and son-in-law, Paul Lundholm.
Randy is survived by his loving wife of the home, Paula Barbee Zeikle; his sons, Eric (Alicia) Zeikle and Nate (Sara) Zeikle; his daughter, Elicia Lundholm; one sister, Teresa (Jack) Crowley; sister-in-law, Judy Zeikle; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandy and Harry Bowers. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Allison (Josh) Brown, Ashley (Tyler) Jeschke, Zeke Zeikle, Paige Newlon, Bo Zeikle, Nathan, Elizabeth and Zachariah Lundholm; six great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces and many friends and loved ones.
Randy married Paula Barbee Zeikle on July 23, 1977. He was employed with Ford Motor Company and retired in 2001. He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports. He was a fan of the KC Chiefs and the Boston Celtics. He enjoyed golf, vacationing with his family and friends, history, gardening and developed a love of snorkeling.
As a born again Christian, he was baptized in 1990 and was a faithful follower since that time. He recently celebrated his 30th year of sobriety. He loved talking about his journey and his deep faith in his Lord.
Services will be held at The United Christian and Presbyterian Church in Lawson, Mo. The visitation will take place on Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 5 to 8 p.m. and the memorial service will be on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 11 a.m. Please dress casual or feel free to wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Randall Zeikle Memorial Fund at Goppert Financial Bank.

Our condolences to you Paula and your family. My girls and I met Randy at Watkins mill and learned so much from him and enjoyed just hanging out with him.
And we all will miss Randy at the mid-continent library in Excelsior Springs.
