Sometimes Family isn’t a blood kin relationship. You always seemed like the close Uncle I could relate to. Good bye for now amigo, we’ll meet again someday. Munchos.

Words cannot express the hurt I feel. LeRoy and Shirley were so loving and kind to me. LeRoy always had one (or several) stories to share. When I moved away in 1973, I continued to visit the Briggs family. As Garry put it: sometimes family isn’t related. I considered LeRoy and Shirley to be a part of my family and my life. So long LeRoy. We will meet again, and I will be ready for some stories!!
Love Ya, Karen (Helge) Dewey
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of LeRoy, my dad was in the National Guard with him and I remember LeRoy teasing and kidding with me every time I would go with dad to the base. My thoughts and prayers are with the family…
