Ethel May Tinsley, 85, passed away on September 12, 2020. Ethel was born August 13, 1935 to Clarence Gorham and Edna Goldsbury in Lawson, Mo.
Ethel married Elba Fay Tinsley on June 17, 1955 and they made their home in Excelsior Springs, Mo. She enjoyed planting flowers and spending time with her family.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Elba Fay; her mother, Edna; her sister, Catherine; and niece, Betty Watt.
She leaves behind her great-niece, Angel Newman; her great-nephew, Shawn Newman and his wife, Vanessa; two great-great-nieces, Faith Hahn and Paige Newman; one great-great-nephew, Trevor Newman; and one great-great-great-nephew, Samuel Hahn.
A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Bross and Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, Mo., on Tuesday, September 14, 2020 with a service to follow at 1 p.m. She will be buried at Hillcrest Cemetery in Excelsior Springs, Mo., following the service.
