Mary Anne Johnson, 84, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away on October 14, 2020.
Mary Anne was born on March 17 and always said she felt like everyone was celebrating her birthday on Saint Patrick’s Day. She loved painting, spending time with her family and her dogs. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She was a long time member of Excelsior Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, brother and her husband, Lemar Johnson.
Survivors include Mary Anne’s daughter, Jenny McSwain and husband, Richard McSwain, and her granddaughter, Kathleen Jones and husband, Alex Jones.
She was a wonderful mother and doting grandmother. She was a sweet soul, she was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Enon Cemetery, 12441 Hwy F. Dawn, MO 64638.
