On Wednesday, November 4, 2020, Delores Ann (Brown) Blake, passed away at age 79.
Delores was born on July 10, 1941 in Jefferson City, Mo., to Elihu and JoAnn Brown. She grew up in Sedalia and was a proud graduate of the class of 1959 at Smith Cotton High School in Sedalia, Mo.
She is survived by her only child with Jim Blake, Angie (Jeff) Perry of Kearney and her two beloved grandsons, Alex and JT.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Elihu and JoAnn, and her brother, Ross.
Delores went to work for McDaniel Title Company in 1974. She joined Stuart Title later in her career and was a Vice President in the company when she retired. Delores had a passion for travel, animals, dancing and listening to live music. She was a very compassionate woman and cared deeply for her family and her friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at the First Christian Church of Kearney at 1 o’clock p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Humane Society would be appreciated.
