Betty D. Wilson, 93, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in Kansas City, Mo., after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Betty was born April 10, 1927 in Excelsior Springs, Mo., to David C. and Virgie McKown.
Betty worked for Guys Foods for several years in Liberty, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Everett S. Wilson.
She is survived by her daughters, Lori Wilson of Excelsior Springs, Linda Drussell of Kansas City, Mo., and Barbara Piburn of Blue Springs, Mo.; son, Danny Green of Lawson, Mo.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Betty will be in-state from 9 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2020 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions to Crossroads Hospice or the American Alzheimer’s Association.
