Anna Belle Rice

Anna Belle RiceAnna Belle Rice (Annie, Ann), 79, of Kansas City, Mo., passed to eternal life with the Lord January 28, 2021.

Anna Belle was born May 20, 1941 in Cameron, Mo., to parents Roy and Eula Hyatt, who preceded her.

Ann lived her early life on the farm near Cameron, Mo., later moving to Claycomo, Mo.   Ann moved to Chula Vista, Calif., during her High School years with her older sister, Rosemary.  Ann met and married her husband, Lewis Randolf Rice, who preceded her, while living in California.  They were married for 59 years and had two sons, Mike and Glenn.

Ann was a life long homemaker and took great pride in her family.  She was always there for anyone that needed anything.She was the epitome of unconditional love.  She always enjoyed road trips with Randy and the boys, as they traveled for motorcycle racing and sports.  Ann had a great sense of humor and could bring a giggle and smile from anyone. Ann will be greatly missed with her beautiful personality, unconditional love and smiles forever. Her faith in Jesus Christ was incredibly important to her. She loved to share about His grace with anyone who would listen. She taught other about God’s Word and made it her mission to be His light in the world.

Ann is survived by her two sons, Mike and wife, Susan Rice, Basehor, Kans., their children, Ethan, wife Chelsea Rice, Olathe, Kans., Emily Rice and her son, Mason, Shawnee, Kans., Evan Rice, Basehor, Kans., and son Glenn and wife Kim Rice, Lee’s Summit, Mo., their daughter, Taylor and her husband Tanner Burton of Kansas City, Mo., and their daughter Eden;  sisters, Linda and husband, Joe Green, and Glenda and her husband, JR Reynolds; brothers, Russel and his wife, Mary Hyatt, and Tommy and his wife, Barbra Hyatt.

Ann was preceded by her brothers, Carl Hyatt and Junior Hyatt; sisters, Rosemary Johnson, Katherine Baker and Dorothy Hyatt
