Virgil F. Garvin, of Excelsior Springs, died February 12, 2021 at the Excelsior Springs Hospital.
Virgil was the son of Virgil F. and Maurine (Popejoy) Garvin. He was united in marriage with Barbara Loyd on July 13, 1956.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; brother, Roy (Shirley) Garvin, Salem, Ore.; sister-in-law, Cindy Garvin of Rayville, Mo.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Garvin.
Virgil was a plumber and loved his classic cars, which he showed at many of the local car shows.
At his request, no services will be held.
