Shirley L. Crabtree, 86, Liberty, Mo., passed away February 25, 2021 at her home.
Shirley was born September 16, 1934, the daughter of William and Pearl Soutter, in Excelsior Springs, Mo. She was a 1952 graduate of Excelsior Springs High School. Shirley and Howard Crabtree were married in 1953. She enjoyed playing the organ, drums and guitar. She also sang at the First Baptist Church-Williston, Fla. She enjoyed being with her family and her puppies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and one son, Howard “Bud” Crabtree.
She is survived by her sons, Gary W. (Cathy) Crabtree and Brian Crabtree; grandchildren, Brittany (Kevin) Buell, Austin Crabtree, Samuel Mason (Katelen) Crabtree, and her sister, Betty Mills.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, March 1, 2021 with service following at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs, with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, Mo.
