Patricia Lee Hibler, 86 years old, of Excelsior Springs, Mo. ( previously Kidder, Mo.), returned to her heavenly home on June 12, 2021. Pat was born on May 7, 1935. She was the daughter of Clinton and Helen (Roberson) Chrisman.
Pat grew up in the Kansas City area. After graduating high school she married Joseph Marion Hibler II. They had two children, Joseph Marion III and Patricia Yvonne. They then moved to a suburb of Los Angeles, Calif., for 14 years. They had two more children, Robin Lynne and Jeffrey Miles. Pat always called the two youngest her little ones. But they were all her favorites.
They moved to her father-in-law’s farm in Kidder, Mo., after her mother-in-law passed in 1970.
She was a devout Christian and prayer warrior. She has attended Wells of Joy Church in Hamilton, Mo., over 40 years. She had a joyous spirit through suffering and hard times to the end.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Marion Hibler II; parents, Clinton and Helen (Roberson) Chrisman; sister, Judith Tally and husband, Delbert Tally; grandson, Christopher Lee Collins; sister-in-laws, Ruby and her husband, Jack Griffin, Gladys Womack, Kate and her husband, Jack Cowan; brother-in-laws, Don Hibler and Frank Hibler; nephews, Kevin Gillispie, Doug Tally, Jack Cowan (Christie), and Frankie Hibler; and nieces, Jennifer White Mills and Sandra Womack.
Survivors include her children, Joseph Marion Hibler (Pam), Patricia Yvonne Hicks, Robin Lynne Collins (Dennis), and Jeffrey Miles Hibler (Kenny); eight grandchildren and 19 great grandsons, with only one great granddaughter, Allie; three sisters, Joyce Rich (Butch), Carolyn Allen, and Becky Tally (Bill); in-laws, Gail Hibler (Cheryl), JoAnn Hibler, and Mary Hibler; and many nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held at The Old Firehouse, 106 S. Jefferson St., Kearney, Mo., on July 11, 2021. Family Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. and Service at 3:00 p.m.
There will be a basket for donations toward Bibles dispersed by Wells Of Joy Church. Please have flowers delivered to 200 Cedar St., Excelsior Springs, Mo., before July 11. They will be displayed at the Celebration of Life Service.
