Jody Angela Pryor

Jody Angela PryorJody Angela Pryor, of Gladstone, MO, passed away June 23, 2021, at home. Jody was born March 24, 1946 in Yonkers, NY, to Jerard and Angela Rauso.

She is survived by two sons, William and Robert Ross; one sister, Geraldine Cecchini; and two brothers, Armondo and Jerard Rauso; she has one grandchild, Jacob; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Caliri.

Jody was an amazing mother and a loving grandmother who adored her family. She was a strong woman of faith who always put family first and raised two sons to be faithful, independent and loving.

Jody excelled at everything she put her mind to from the home to church and in the workplace. She turned her love of crafts into a business to support her family and later retired as a property manager of over 20 years.

For countless years she volunteered at a variety of organizations including Cub Scouts, PTA, Sunday school, and Harvesters. Jody also provided Christmas through the years for underprivileged children and families.

Jody had a heart for everyone. She was an avid reader of mysteries and novels and loved to sew, travel the world, and spend time with her pets.

Jody knew Jesus as her personal Savior and her faith made her a prayer warrior. She held to the blessed hope that we would all be united again someday in Glory.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made in Jody’s name to the American Lung Association.

Arrangements in care of Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
