Tylene (Fox) Heard died on August 15, 2021 from cancer. She was born December 11, 1942 in Long Beach, Calif., but moved to Petersburg, Texas, as a young girl.
Tylene “Tye, Mom, Granna” was married to Mentor Heard on the last Tuesday in May 1960. She was a talented artist, accomplished cook, and avid reader. She had a green thumb and loved gardening and birds. Tylene had a beautiful smile and a friendly, kind, and generous spirit. She will be greatly missed by her family and all those who knew her.
Tylene was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Roxie Fox; her brother, Jim Fox; and her dear husband, Mentor Mac Heard.
She leaves behind her brother Troy (Carol) Fox; her three children, Troye (Mike) Hutchinson, Jon (Tessa) Heard and Philip Heard; and her five grandchildren, Matt, Tim, Katie, Tara and Shannen; also her three great-grandchildren, Liv, Ryan, and Jonny.
Graveside service to be held on September 13, 2021 at the Estacado Cemetery, Estacado, Texas, at 11:00 a.m.
