Victoria Lynn (Gerdes) (Acker) Miller was born February 14, 1966 in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, and relinquished for adoption to the State of Nebraska in Gordon, Nebraska, at age 3 months. She was adopted by Bob and Marilyn Gerdes of Lincoln, Nebraska, and joined the family of three brothers, Robert Todd, Dane Michael and Kipp Allen. A few years later another daughter, Jackilyn Jennifer, joined the family.
When Victoria was 14, the family moved to Denver where she met and married Kevin Acker and had a son, Joshua Ryan. They divorced and Victoria and Joshua moved to Excelsior Springs where her parents had relocated. She then married Randy Miller of Kansas City and they were parents of Chelsea Miranda. Randy preceded her in death.
Victoria is survived by her children, Joshua and Chelsea; her parents; three brothers, one sister, and their spouses; and many nieces and nephews.
Victoria will be cremated. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in her name to the Good Samaritan Center, Excelsior Springs, Mo.
