Morene May Davis

On October 29, 2021, Morene May Davis passed away at the age of 93 years old. Morene was born on December 28, 1927, in Great Bend, Kansas, to Chester Hampton Rutherford and Zola Estella Gaskill. She loved cooking and was always the one that wanted to do Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners on her own. She did a lot of genealogy work in her free time when she was younger.

Morene was preceded in death by her husband, Sharon Davis, and her sister, Jean Thackery.

She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Fowler and Dorothy Tackett; her son, Dennis Fordham; her sister, Rachel Brown; her granddaughters, Lisa Verdusco, Amy Goyne, Dawn Wilson, and April Cole; her grandson, Mark Hines; her great grandchildren, Travis Verdusco, Audree Verdusco, Nathaniel Goyne, Maleah Patterson, and Cassidy Wilson.
