Edward Stephen Emery

Edward Stephen Emery, 50, Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away December 22, 2021, at Liberty Hospital.

Mr. Emery was born September 10, 1971, at Clark Air Base, Philippines.  Edward graduated from the Ford Asset program at Longview College and was a mechanic for many years.  He then went to the University of Central Missouri graduating from the Law Enforcement Program.  He was a police officer for Orrick, MO, and later became a Ranger for Clay County at Smithville Lake.  He ended his career working at the Elms Hotel.  He was a Deacon at CLCC and enjoyed serving coffee and donuts on Sundays.  He loved hunting, fishing, taxidermy and working on cars.

He is survived by his wife, Heidi of the home; parents, Edward and Ruth Emery; brother, Stephen and wife, Kathy Emery; sister, Amy and husband, Bryon Jeffers; nephews, niece and many other loved ones and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. with service following on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Crescent Lake Christian Center. Burial at Hillcrest Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, MO.  Memorial contributions are suggested to CLCC to be used towards a memorial for Edward.
