Lorene Marie Swope, 68 years old, of Plattsburg, Mo., went to be with her Lord on the morning of May 8, 2022.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, Milton Leroy Alley and Esther Marie Alley; and her granddaughter, Chrissie Lee Adair.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Allen Swope; her children, Jennifer Lorene Marie Jones (Richard D Jones), Eric D. Henry Sr. (Anna Henry), Melissa Eleanor Roberts (Jason Roberts), and Mike Swope; her grandchildren, Eric Deweese Henry II (Allena Cat), Trisha Ann Adair (Cody Collins), Andrea Marie Henry (Robert Ford), Jacob Milton Henry, Parker Ian Jones, Samantha Marie Henry, and Duane Milton Henry; and her great grandchildren, Blaine Collins, McKinley Halstenburg-Henry, Blake Collins, Eric Henry III, Addison Ford, Kyler Ford, Bryson Ford, Stella Ford; and her sister, Diane Fitzgerald.
We invite you to celebrate her life with us at an open house on Sunday May 29, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at their home, 510 N. 2nd St., Plattsburg, MO 64477; followed by a balloon release at Perkins Park, Plattsburg, Mo.

Our Prayer to God:
Dear Lord, relying on your promises to us, I turn to you in trust that my mother is with you and that she is enjoying your loving embrace. You alone know how she loved the best she could and how she faithfully endured the struggles that she faced. You know the graces you gave her and you know the grace she was for me and for so many. For all the ways she truly loved the way you loved her, please reward her, Lord. May she enjoy the communion of all her family and friends who are with you.
Lord, I know my mother still loves us who are still here on earth. I ask you that you might listen to her fervent prayers for us. Help me to grow into a new and deeper relationship with my mother now, as I long for the day when we will both meet in your embrace – freed from all that might have hindered our relationship on earth, knowing and understanding everything we did not know or understand on this earth.
