Paul Curtis Teegarden Jr., aka “Chopper”, 66, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022, on Hospice after his long battle trying to recover from a stroke. Paul was born March 7, 1956, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, to Curtis Paul Teegarden Sr. and Shirley Jane (Wilson) Teegarden.
After graduating from High School in 1974, Paul went into the apprenticeship for IronWorkers Local 10, graduating in January 1978, he spent just shy of 30 years before retiring. Paul spent a lifetime being involved with so many different avenues, if you crossed paths with him, you knew his love for family, life, and willingness to help was sure to leave a lasting impression on you.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Kelley Teegarden; daughter and son-in-law, Rachelle and Bradley Jackson; four grandchildren, Trenton Teegarden, Tanner Teegarden, Maci (Amos) Bush, and Bradley Jackson Jr.; his former spouse, Sandra Teegarden; three brothers, Chris Teegarden, Jackie Teegarden, and Johny Teegarden; his sister, Tammy Jeffers; along with many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on June 4, 2022, at Skiles Event Center, formerly known as “Our Place”, 3975 MO-10 BUS, Richmond, MO 64085.
