Mark Chapin, 38, of Willard, Missouri, passed away June 3, 2022 at Liberty Hospital surrounded by family.
Mark was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 15, 1983. He was a 2002 graduate of Warsaw high school. He loved fishing, being a dad, working on cars and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Chapin; mother, Carol Chapin; father-in-law, Paul Edelstein; brothers, Vernon “Chris” Gregory and Glenn Gregory.
Mark leaves behind his wife, Tara (Edelstein) Chapin, along with son, Jimmie Rockwell Chapin of the home; brother, Mark Gregory (Sendy) of Murfreesboro Tennessee; sister, Theresa “Teri” Baker (Tony) of Kansas City, Missouri; sister, Angel Rose of Mosby, Missouri; mother-in-law, Bonnie Edelstein of Edwards, Missouri; brother-in-law, Joshua Edelstein (DeAnn) of Strafford, Missouri; sister-in-law, Peggy Edelstein of Springfield, Missouri; niece, Cassie Rupard (Derick); nephew, Axel Rose (Alyssa); niece, Stormy Dowdell (Caleb); nephew, Jourdyn Edelstein; nephew, Gauge Thompson; niece, Abbi Thompson; and niece, Malayna Edelstein; along with a large extended family and many friends.
Memorial services will be at a later date in Warsaw, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a trust for Jimmie at (bank name to come) under JIMMIE ROCKWELL CHAPIN.
